Dexxoo capsule 30 mg 30’s works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus.
Uses of Dexxoo capsule 30 mg 30’s
What is it prescribed for?
- Erosive Esophagitis
This medicine is used to heal the damage to the lining of the esophagus as well as to relieve heartburn caused due to the excessive production of stomach acid. It is also used for the maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis and maintenance of relief of heartburn.
- Non- Erosive Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
This medicine is used in the treatment of heartburn associated with non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, a condition where acid from the stomach and bile irritates the food pipe.
When not to use?
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Dexxoo capsule 30 mg 30’s or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.
Severe liver impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe liver impairment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Use of this medicine has been associated with Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea in some cases. Report any symptoms such as severe and persistent diarrhea, abdominal cramps, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Lupus erythematosus
This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of lupus erythematosus (systemic and cutaneous). Report any unusual signs and symptoms such as extreme tiredness, painful joints, rashes, lesions on the skin, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Use in pediatrics
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
