When not to use?
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to Citograin tablet 500 mg 10’s or any other ingredients present along with it.
Hypertonia
This medicine is not recommended for use in patient having abnormal muscle tension and stiffness due to nerve damage in the brain. This condition is also present in people who have had a brain surgery to remove certain specific nerves.
Pediatric use
This medicine is not recommended for use in children who are aged 18 or below.
Warnings
Pregnancy
This medicine is not recommended for use when you are pregnant.
Breast-feeding
This medicine is not recommended for use by women who are breastfeeding.
Use in children
This medicine should not be used in children aged 18 or below as the safety and efficacy are not clinically established.
Drowsiness
This medicine may cause drowsiness upon consumption in some cases and hence patient should refrain from driving or performing tasks that require a high level of mental alertness.

How to use Citograin tablet 500 mg 10’s
Administered by IM or IV (3-5 min) and IV drip (infusion rate of 40-60 drops/min). Direct IV administration should be made very slowly to prevent episodes of hypotension.
Compatibility: Hypertonic glucose solution and all IV isotonic solns.

What happens if I miss a dose of Citograin tablet 500 mg 10’s?
INJECTION: Adults: Usually 1000 mg-2000 mg daily IM or slow IV or IV infusion (infusion rate 40-60 drops/min), for four consecutive wk. Can be administered orally. Children: Not recommended.
ORAL: Adults: 600-2000 mg daily.
Children: Above 12 yr, 100 mg two to three times daily.
