Ursodeoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring bile acid that is used in the treatment of liver and gallbladder diseases. It is important for the digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins. It is also used as a diuretic and may have anti-inflammatory properties.

• Treatment of chronic liver diseases
• Treatment of certain types of cholesterol gallstones
• Medical therapy of fatty liver disease

• For children or teenagers, especially those under the age of 2

• Have asthma or have had asthma in the past
• Liver inflammation history
