Generics: Rabeprazole Sodium
Used For: Acidity & Ulcers
How It Works:
Rabecid Tablets contain rabeprazole sodium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the parietal cells of the stomach. This reduces both basal and stimulated acid production, irrespective of the stimulus.
