How it Works: Imodium Capsules contain loperamide hydrochloride, which slows bowel movements to reduce diarrhoea, allowing for better absorption of water and salts.
Imodium Capsules Usage and Safety:
Dosage: Follow prescribed dosage of Loperamide Hydrochloride.
Side Effects:
Common (up to 1 in 10 people): Nausea, constipation, gas, headache.
Uncommon (up to 1 in 100 people): Dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, indigestion, dry mouth.
Rare (up to 1 in 1,000 people): Tiredness.
Drug Interactions: Caution with Ritonavir, quinidine, oral desmopressin, itraconazole or ketoconazole, gemfibrozil.
