Symptoms of overdose include chest discomfort, clammy skin, weak pulse, flushing, fainting or slow heartbeat. Consult a doctor immediately after overdose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose can be skipped.

Take this medicine with a full glass of water after meals or on an empty stomach

Do not take in case of:

• pregnancy
• allergy to one or both salts
• you have diabetes and are using aliskiren

Your healthcare provider needs to know if you have any of these conditions:

• liver or kidney disease
• a heart attack
• angioedema due to another BP medicine
• vomiting or a lot of diarrhea

The drugs that can interact with Amlodipine and Valsartan include:

• Cyclosporine

• Sildenafil

• Rifampin

• Ritonavir

• Diuretics

• Herbal formulations

The food interactions that should be considered while using Amlodipine and Valsartan are:

• High-sodium foods can reduce the effectiveness of the medication. A low-sodium diet is recommended.

• Avoid potassium-rich foods and excessive potassium supplements.

• Grapefruit juice may increase side effects by affecting the calcium channel blocker component. It’s best to avoid or limit grapefruit juice.

• Alcohol can amplify the medication’s effects, leading to dizziness or fainting. Limiting alcohol is advised.

• High-fat meals have no direct interaction, but a balanced diet supports overall health.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets
