- Gastric Ulcer
Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL is used in the treatment of ulcers in the stomach.
- Gastroesophagal Reflux Disease
Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL is used for the treatment of a condition where the acid produced in the stomach causes irritation in the food pipe.
- Hypersecretory Condition
Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL is used to prevent and treat conditions where the amount of acid secreted in the stomach is abnormally high.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
This medicine is used to treat a condition where an excessive amount of acid is produced in the stomach due to tumors in the small intestine.
- Dyspepsia
This medicine relieves indigestion and sour stomach due to excess acid production in the stomach.
When not to use?
Allergy
Not recommended in patients with known allergy to Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL or other H2 antagonists.
Warnings
Pregnancy
This medicine is recommended in pregnant women only if benefits overweigh the risks.
Breast-feeding
This medicine is known to excreted through the breastmilk. It is recommended for breastfeeding women.
Impaired kidney function
Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. The dose should be adjusted if the CrCl is less than 50 ml/min.
Effect on Central nervous system
Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL may show the effect on central nervous system in patients with kidney dysfunction. Any symptoms of dizziness, confusion should be reported to the doctor.
Use of nicotine
The use of nicotine is not recommended during treatment with this medicine due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
Dosage
- Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, then the missed dose can be skipped.
- Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
General Instructions
Take Acicon suspension Dry 10 mg/5 mL 60 mL as instructed by your doctor. It should be taken before food at bedtime. Do not take in larger amounts than prescribed. Take this medicine at the same time every day.

Headache, dizziness, constipation, diarrhoea, dry mouth, nausea, rash, Gl upset, abdominal discomfort, anorexia, fatigue, rash, liver enzyme abnormalities, cholestatic jaundice, anaphylaxis, angioedema, arthralgia, muscle cramp. CNS disturbances. Rarely reversible gynaecomastia, toxic epidermal necrolysis. AV block.
